Dr. Manuelle Charbonneau brings over 25 years of C-suite advisory, leadership development, coaching, and consulting experience to her work with senior leaders, partners and high potentials. A bicultural and bilingual dual citizen of France and the US, she consults in both languages, in person and virtually, to clients dispersed around the world.
She currently divides her time between Los Angeles, Montreal, and France. Described by her clients as a pragmatic expert, she leverages her multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience for impact and tangible outcomes. Her clients consistently report an increase in their ability to engage, connect and influence others and lead execution across personality styles, teams, functions, organizational cultures, and national cultures. She has lived or worked in over 27 countries. Manuelle majored in International Business at the Audencia Nantes School of Management in France and worked internationally in Europe. After working for over a decade as a licensed psychotherapist in Los Angeles, she spent several years in change management with a boutique firm. She then spent over a decade internally in charge of leadership development for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, the $1.6B water wholesaler for the region. Manuelle’s consulting and solutions, while practical, measurable and results-oriented, are anchored in intelligent psychological models, not fads or simplistic ideas. They integrate leading-edge psychology, technology and a high human touch for maximum business impact and ROI. She has worked with a broad range of clients from Fortune 500 to Global 500 in high tech, luxury, fashion, pharmaceutical, biotech, aerospace, defense, utilities, energy, telecom, academia, government, professional and financial services, transportation, and non-profits. She now focuses on accelerating the growth and transitions of leaders in expertise-intensive/high complexity environments. In addition to her Ph.D. in organizational psychology and two master’s degrees (in organizational psychology and clinical psychology), Manuelle completed executive courses in cross-cultural communication and global leadership from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, and earned an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University. Her doctoral dissertation pioneered the research on the use of technology in executive coaching and has been used as a reference worldwide. Manuelle served as a board member of the Los Angeles Organization Development Network and a member of the Consulting Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association, where she has been a repeat national conference presenter. She is currently on the advisory board for the UK-based Managing Partners Forum. |
